Emerging Small Business Program
Mission
To develop a pool of small businesses from a plethora of industries that can compete when seeking business opportunities with the University of Florida.
Purpose
In a collaborative effort of Business Affairs units (Planning, Design, and Construction; Facilities Services (Operations); and Small Business Relations), we seek to educate, develop, and increase access for small and emerging firms to participate in projects with the institution.
Goals
- Educate: Teach firms how to successfully do business with UF
- Develop: Offer guidance and resources (knowledge, training, insight) to help develop firms
- Access: Provide appropriate-sized opportunities for firms to work with UF (at the discretion of program administrators)
