Mission: The development of small and diverse businesses in landscape and related services to provide for an increased pool of available and qualified small businesses seeking opportunities with the University of Florida

Purpose: In a collaborative effort of Business Affairs units (Facilities Services (Operations) and Small Business & Supplier Diversity), we are seeking to educate, develop and increase access for small emerging firms to participate in landscape and related projects and/or service agreements with the institution.

Goals:

• Educate: Teach firms how to successfully do business at UF
• Develop: Offer guidance and resources (knowledge, training, insight) to help develop firms
• Access: Provide appropriate sized opportunities for firms to work with UF (at the discretion of program administrators)
• Increase: small & diverse business participation in landscape and related services and projects at UF. Also, increase the pool of qualified, small & diverse business available for use at UF.
